Job Description

About the opportunity 

We have an opening for an Oral Health Therapist or Graduate Dentist to join our GMHBA Dental Care team in Portland on a full time or part time basis. Be supported to pursue your goals, have autonomy in your work and deliver clinical excellence. We’ll provide work life balance, financial growth and a supportive working environment. 

GMHBA Dental is committed to providing patients with high-quality, personalised and gentle dental care. From simple cleans to major dentistry, we have all dental needs covered.

Our Portland practice is owned by GMHBA but operates similar to a private practice with no preferred provider arrangements, and freedom to diagnose and plan treatments. We have a long term loyal patient base and excellent base of referral specialists. A wonderful sea-change opportunity in the beautiful South-West of Victoria, Portland is an idyllic, vibrant coastal town. With endless world-renowned beaches and wide open spaces, Portland caters for an active lifestyle with opportunities for hiking, mountain biking, surfing, fishing and diving. Portland is located 4.5 hours for Melbourne and 6 hours from Adelaide in South West Victoria, there are direct flights available to either capitals from close by Mt Gambier.

Desired Skills and Experience

About you 

You will bring experience in a similar setting working with adult patients, along with:

  • Share our passion for delivering quality patient care and education
  • Be warm, approachable and build rapport and trust with a diverse range of patients
  • Love being part of a team, and value team culture
  • Have a current registration with APHRA and the right to work and practice in Australia
  • Bachelor degree in Oral Health or equivalent, along with licenses to operate Irradiating Apparatus and Ionizing Radiation Apparatus in Victoria
